This is my first assignment in digital illustration. We had to take the word 'pale' from Illustration Friday's word of the week, and draw a picture using that as our concept and create the image using the linoleum block technique.
I am a native Michigander who my husband would describe as a "hyped-up, frizzy ginger." We are living in Savannah, which explains the "frizzy." I love my job as a full time nanny and working with the youth at church.

I love the color...and the elephant looks so cute!
Neat all-over composition. Fun!
I think this one is my favorite! I really like the pattern you made!
I like it! Makes me think of that scene in Dumbo, with that catchy song...but I think those elephants are pink.
They are all so cute! And those are mice in between the elephants, right? Awesome.
I think this would be so much fun as a fabric pattern. Curtains, skirts, bow ties, the skies the limit! LOVE LOVE!
This is so fun. I love the colors and composition.

Your finished piece is so cute, I love it! The pattern would be so much fun on some kind of quilting fabric. Great use of the linocut technique.
